Programme Requirements for Physics and Space Science

General Information

The Physics Department offers the following programmes of study: Physics (Honours), Space Science (Honours), Major in Physics, Major in Space Science and a Double Major in Physics and Space Science. Other Double Majors are possible. For details see the undergraduate advisor in the Physics Department.

The requirements for both the Physics (Honours) and Major in Physics or Space Science (Honours) and Major in Space Science are listed in the tables along with optional courses which are selectively timetabled.

Requirements for Physics

Physics (Honours)

Completion of a 42 credit programme, including the core courses for science programmes. A minimum of 20 credits in Physics, approved by the department.
