Welcome to the Department of Politics and Economics at the Royal Military College of Canada. Our Department offers a broad spectrum of courses dealing with the political, economic and geographical causes and implications of various domestic and international issues, preparing students both for careers of effective service in the Canadian Forces and for further educational development at the graduate level. A minimum of 12 courses in Politics and Economics, with at least five from each of the two disciplines, is required for an Honours degree; a minimum of ten courses, with five from each discipline, for a general degree. Prospective students are encouraged to consult the academic calendar for more specific information about courses of study or to direct inquiries directly to any member of the Department.
